What most leaders find surprising about our approach to strategy development is the manner in which we extract what's essential, convert the abstract into the tangible, and reveal what's hiding in plain sight. It's not a process. It's a formula. It does not follow academic conventions. It does not subscribe to traditional management consulting practices. Conventional strategy playbooks have maxed-out their shelf life for today's innovation-driven leaders. Innovation is about imagination. Imagination is about wonderment. Our strategy development practices draw upon agile, iterative excellence architecture. We combine the attributes of UX design, OD methodologies, causal modeling, and blink decisioning with generative intelligence capabilities. The resulting efforts inform our framework schematic. We know that sounds like a mouthful of "what in the world is that". But, the truth is, what it is isn't nearly as important as what it does. It's about equipping aspirational leaders for the race for relevance.
Let's talk confidentiality. We have a philosophy around here - "we keep our mouths closed and our coffee hot". That pretty much sums up our position on why we don't share our client portfolio, or tag our clients on social platforms - even when they are okay about it.
We have a zero-tolerance policy about confidentiality. Internally, we work to shield our clients from any situation, no matter how well-intended, that has the potential to compromise their sensitive business matters. The reverse is not always true. Our clients are amazing and sometimes their excitement gets the better of them. Sometimes, they cheerfully and openly share that they are our clients. Ahhh shucks. So much for our anonymity.
We offer two ways in which to work together, flat fee and fixed fee. Our flat fee option is based on a Scope of Work determined through our discovery model, or sometimes as a result of a short-term option being insufficient for the complexity of your business challenge.
A flat fee engagement is a popular option because we use value-based pricing - not billable hours or work on spec models. In other words - no surprises, no gotchas, no project overages. The length of an Engagement varies based on several factors, but generally we work to deliver on commitments under one of five delivery models.
Our fixed fee option is what we call "1-Shots". These are pre-determined, short-term strategy sessions and are highly structured with a single purpose or deliverable. They are ideal for single issue planning. Check out our 1-Shots page to explore these fixed fee options.
Oh yeah, we almost forgot . . . about our company name. Well, that's as story that requires something way stronger than coffee. Let's just say, "two partners diverged in a yellow wood"; and leave it at that.
